"Please Please Me" was originally released on March the 22nd 1963. The album comprised of the band's
first two singles "Love Me Do" and "Please Please Me", their b-sides and
a further ten tracks that were unbelievably recorded in a single day at
Abbey Road Studios on February the 11th 1963. The day ended with the
band's legendary cover of "Twist and Shout", which was recorded last in a
single take, as John Lennon's vocal performance on the track was so raw
and intense that by the time he'd finished, his voice was completely
shot.
This striking and original print has been created by taking
the entire lyrics of "Please Please Me" and "distilling" them into a
unique and stylish typographic artwork.
Measuring 40 x 50 cm in size (approx. 16"x20") the print is hand screenprinted onto archival quality 100% recycled 270gsm board.
The
print is a strictly limited edition of just 50 and each print is
individually numbered and hand signed and dated on the back.
All prints are shipped in extra sturdy poster tubes to prevent damage in transit.
